Amanda Stemplowski, RP

Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in trauma, attachment, and grief and loss.

I completed my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and Business from Guelph University and then went on to complete my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I opened Sprout Psychotherapy in 2022 with a vision to help those who are struggling from trauma and the many impacts it tends to have on peoples lives.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults while offering a warm, supportive space where all parts of you are welcome. In our sessions, you can expect to be met with compassion, authenticity and humour.

My approach is eclectic and integrates the Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM), Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and techniques from Play Therapy to gently guide healing and growth. I believe that connection—with ourselves and others, plays a powerful role in the therapy process.

Together, we’ll move at your pace, creating space for curiosity, understanding, and meaningful change.

Marie-Claude Guillemette, RPQ

Hello/Bonjour!

I’m Marie-Claude, “M.C.,” Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Clinical Associate with Sprout Psychotherapy. I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Laurentian University (2022).

I offer support for individuals 14 and older struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships. My additional areas of interest are ADHD, supporting post-secondary students, and parenting. I provide an affirming, safe space for 2SLGBTQIA+ clients struggling with minority stress and/or challenges.

I believe every client is the expert in their life, and together we can discover the best path to achieving your wellness goals! I aim to provide a non-judgmental, supportive, and collaborative space with a tailored approach honouring your unique life experiences.

Clinically, I take an integrative approach grounded in person-centred, solution-focused, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT).

En plus, je parle Français et Anglais!

A little bit about me personally: Making people laugh is one of my greatest joys, and I’m told I can be quite funny! But that’s truly a matter of opinion… I’m decent at playing guitar, fiddle/violin, and singing. Although I didn’t go to ‘Band Camp,’ I did go to ‘Fiddle Camp.’ I’ve always struggled to answer, “What’s your favourite genre of music?” How can I choose just one or a few? I’m always open to discovering something new!  And lastly, when attending a potluck or hosting, my pesto pasta and spinach dip are my most requested dishes!
